The Materials and the Feel
The tube is quartz, filled with halogen. That combo keeps the filament steady and stops the glass from darkening over time. The heat comes on fast—shortwave output means you don’t wait around. You flip it on, and you feel it. Immediate. The R7s connector is simple and solid. It’s a direct bi-pin fit that carries the full current without extra fiddling. Wire it, clamp it, and it stays put. This setup is made for outdoor spots, process heating, and enclosures that get hammered by wind and weather.
